The Ickworth Hotel
Whether it’s a tour of the house, a bike ride or a brisk walk, there’s over 1,800 acres of National Trust parkland for you to explore. Once a fine country home, now a luxury family hotel specialising in child friendly holidays, the Ickworth is a masterpiece of Italian-inspired architecture.
Brand Tone of Voice
The first step was to familiarise ourselves with the brand and all its values, audiences and wider strategy – to create an authentic tone of voice. We developed personality traits, drawn from their existing brand values, to guide the design style.
The guide also shows the tone of voice in action, with sample passages and a brief analysis, so that those using the guide can see how the tone of voice can be put into practice. Finally, there’s a copy style guide, which sets out punctuation, spelling, usage and formatting to ensure communications are stylistically consistent.
The Ickworth Hotel commissioned us to design and print various branded collateral including wine menus, dessert menus, Christmas drinks lists and menus, in-room mini-guides, spa treatment leaflets and many more promotional materials like pencils and colouring books for their kids, all in-keeping with their family friendly approach.
